What is GATE?
GATE is an exam conducted by IISc and IITs for mainly taking admissions in master degree courses of their institutes.
However apart from taking admissions in IISc and IITs, GATE score is used in

Who is eligible for GATE examination?
Following candidates are eligible for this exam
- Any student who is in final year or who has passed the B. Tech or B.E. program can appear in this exam
- Students who has done B. Tech or B.E. after diploma or B. Sc.
- Bachelor degree holders of Architecture
- Bachelor degree in science (4 yrs. or post diploma)

Opportunities after qualifying GATE exam
There are several opportunities after qualifying this exam with good marks. Some of them are

Make your own notes
While studying you should start making your own exhaustive notes of all subjects. Never take somebody else’s note for studying, always make your own notes, these will help you a lot.
While starting your preparation for GATE you should first pick one subject book and go through that thoroughly. Make exhaustive notes even on very first time.
Your notes be in such a manner that after making notes of a subject you do not need to open the book for consulting something.

Solving numerical helps you in building your concept, solve as many numerical as possible. Also, this exam involves many numerical questions, you have to answer them if you want success.

Do not underestimate mathematics
Many students who are preparing for GATE do not give proper attention to mathematics. Since, this exam has considerable weightage of mathematics, one should not take it lightly.

Make all topics of you interest very strong. We should master your strong topics to the extent that you are able to answer any question from that topic.

Have confidence on what you have prepared till now. Do not fear of mob which is in the exam center to give the exam. Many candidates fill the form just for formality, they do not have any preparation. Have 100% faith in yourself and crack the damn exam.
